Formed in 1979 by Mr A Beaujean, Afon Engineering is a family run business providing engineering solutions to the local, national and international marketplace. With over 30 years experience Afon's success has arisen from it's focus on providing quality, efficient and cost effective solutions to all of it's customers.
Afon Engineering started trading in small precision engineering components out of a 1000 square feet factory, after six months of trading the scale of the business increased necessitating the acquisition of further premises, providing an additional 1000 square feet. The next 18 months saw a further increase in business and 1981 saw Afon become a limited company, moving into larger premises, enabling the company to acquire larger plant and machinery and offer it’s customers a wider range of services.
As Afon was becoming a well known and trusted name their business continued to advance, their experience and reliability shown in their ISO 9001 accreditation was also recognised with a further move in 1992 to a 20,000 square feet factory with a further acquisition made in 1995 taking their capacity to 25,000 square feet.
In March 2000 Afon moved into its purpose built 37,000 square foot factory with large yard area and strong transport links, Afon have invested heavily in the most up to date rolling, forming, welding and cutting equipment and will continue this practice to ensure they stay at the forefront of it’s trade, and a perusal of plant capacity page will give a insight into Afon’s capabilities.
In 2009, the construction of a planned extension saw Afon adding a further 13,000 square feet, enabling Afon to continue in their advancement and to meet the increasing needs of it’s customers.
Having achieved a great deal to date Afon Engineering is proud of its long term cordial relationships with its customers, and continues to provide them with premium products and services and with it’s commitment to quality, Afon looks forward to adding these same values to it’s new and prospective customers.
